I have worked in a diverse set of roles that have challenged me to learn and grow. Below contains an in-depth discussion of some of my experiences. For a more concise depiction, please refer to my resume.
In the summer of 2020, I had the opportunity to work at Goldman Sachs as a summer operations analyst. There, I work with the loan servicing teams to improve workflow efficiencies and provided recommendations on how day-to-day processes could be enhanced.
In the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to intern abroad in Singapore at DuckerFrontier, a market intelligence and consulting firm. There, I worked in a global environment and aided the research team to implement a new workflow efficiency model.
Writing is a powerful tool that allows us to convey our ideas and communicate with others. I have always been fond of words and believe that writing is an essential skill to excel personally and professionally.
It is an absolute privilege to edit someone’s raw thoughts and first drafts. Someone’s initial writing sample is never perfect, but the editor has the power to make it just that. The editor reads the piece, finds its potential, and helps the writer transform it. I adore the editing process and currently serve as a freelance editor.
In the summer of 2020, I planned and executed a bake sale fundraiser to support the virtual learning transition of students in Dallas ISD. I decided to include this in my portfolio because I am passionate about social impact work – and I hope to make this space an area to share my personal passion projects.
